FAQ

WHERE CAN WE PARK?

You can park in either parking lot of George English. The address will generally take you to the Tennis Center (North Lot) and you can park there for free. If you want to have a shorter walk to us leave that lot and turn right and right into the next parking lot and drive around you will see spots on your right that are for cars. These spots are metered by the city $4/hour. Do not park in the trailer spots you will get a ticket.

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?

Yes, we are pet friendly. Quick tip: bring a towel for your dog to lay on so they are comfortable and get your dog a life jacket so you can easily dunk or pull them out of the water if needed.

HO OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO KAYAK?

You must be 14 or older to have your own kayak or paddleboard. To join an adult the requirement is to be at least 30lbs to fit into a life jacket. For infants we recommend you get your own coast guard approved jacket and get them used to it before coming. But it is not required.

CAN WE STORE OUR BAGS? DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS?

We do not have lockers and are unable to take anything valuable. Please lock all items away in your car or leave them in the hotel. We do provide waterproof bags for phone and keys.

CAN WE BRING A COOLER?

Yes! Feel free to bring a small cooler with waters and snacks for your adventure to stay hydrated. Try to avoid plastics and keep our water ways clean.

Can we take the kayaks/paddleboards offsite to our house or beach?

No all rentals stay on location from our launch site. No overnight rentals.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOUR AND A RENTAL?

A tour is $65 per person for two hours with a guide who will teach you about our local flora and fauna as well as the History of Fort Lauderdale. The rental we give you the equipment a basic paddle instruction and a map for you to explore on your own.

CAN WE DO A FULL MOON TOUR TONIGHT?

We offer the full moon once a month ON the Full Moon. Other nighttime tours INCLUDE July 4TH, Winterfest Boat parade, NYE and Valentine’s day
