Fort Lauderdale puts on a show every evening — and the best seat in the house is on the water. Our private sunset cruises take your group along the Intracoastal Waterway as the sky turns gold, past the mansions and mega-yachts of Millionaire's Row, and into the city lights as the evening sets in. It's two and a half hours that feel completely removed from anything on shore. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want a genuinely memorable night out, this is the Fort Lauderdale experience most visitors never find. You can also take a 4 or 6-hour evening tour.

FAQ

Areas to Explore on Lauderdale Adventures Sunset Cruise

Fort Lauderdale has more than 165 miles of waterways — and on a sunset cruise, you'll see the best of them. Most evening routes take in a combination of:

  • Millionaire's Row — cruise the New River past some of the most extraordinary private yachts and waterfront estates in the country, at the exact moment the light is best

  • The Intracoastal Waterway — the main artery of Fort Lauderdale's boating scene, beautiful at any hour and spectacular at golden hour

  • The Fort Lauderdale city skyline — as the sun drops and the city lights come up, the skyline from the water is hard to beat

Here's a Fort Lauderdale boating map for a visual reference. Your Captain will contact you before your charter and help tailor the trip for your group. They are all local and make great tour guides. Check out this page for more details on the best spots for a Fort Lauderdale sunset.

We did the sunset cruise for my wife's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The captain knew exactly where to be at the right time. The photos he took for us were better than anything we could have gotten ourselves.

Best thing we did on our whole trip to Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend booking the sunset cruise — the views on the Intracoastal as the sun goes down are something else.
